This is your opportunity to become involved in the renewal of our church. Many of our teams and committees are looking for fresh ideas and willing hands. If you have a few hours to spare and are interested in learning more, please contact the church office and Kathleen will direct you.

Outreach

Supports projects meeting the needs of others in our community and around the world.

Worship

Plans and presents all aspects of regular and special worship services. They co-ordinate volunteer greeters, scripture readers, guest musicians, decorators, announcers and sound and video technicians.

Communications

Prepares and posts items of interest on our Social Media channels that reflect who we are as a congregation. Also assists with emails to be distributed to different communication lists, promotions of special events and the newsletter. Training will be provided.

Social Events

Organizes luncheons, receptions and our Sunday fellowship time.

Music and Choir

The music team, led by the Music Director, is always looking for more voices in the choir, or musicians wishing to share their gift of music. Choir rehearses Sept-June, but music continues all year long.

Executive Board

Consists of representatives of the major church teams plus a chair and vice chair with staff support. They develop the mission and policies of the church as reflections of the congregation.

Ministry and Personnel

Care for the health and welfare of the staff and the congregation. They support the staff by establishing and reviewing goals, job descriptions and salaries.

Trustees

Oversee church investments and insurance ensuring sustainable resources for the future.

Technical

Operates the audio and visual equipment used to record or livestream services, concerts and other events held in our church. No previous knowledge is necessary. Training will be provided.

Property

Cares for the building and surrounding land making minor repairs on their own and arranging contractors for more extensive maintenance.

Finance

Examines the financial health of the church and makes recommendations regarding assets and expenditures now and for the future.
